I am going to start a Saturday tip post. This will be titled: Tips From a Lifelong Messy.
To avoid leaving things out, do not put them down until they are in their proper place. Ex. When you use scissors, do not use what you have opened until you put the scissors away. Definitely don't put the scissors down on the table or counter.
