Garden

Four.

Four tiny years we have known you.

You have convinced us all that you are a garden fairy.  Don't worry. We made place for you. Here where the sun slants through the fence in the morning, lighting the undersides of the leaves.  Between
the Lantana and the Verbena there is a little space just for you where you can warm your wings and sip dew from the party-colored cups.  There is nectar here, for I know you love sweeties.  I beg you to stay, sweet fae one; stay and greet the sun in our garden.

Annabel turned four in April.  Stunned and overjoyed, we welcomed our family to celebrate our butterfly-child.
